Alexander Hamilton acknowledged that nations normally were founded by “accident and force,” but America was founded by “reflection and choice.” George Washington stated that America was the “cause of mankind.” As Europe declined over the decades leading up to the twentieth century, America rose in prominence and influence. Until the Founding Fathers, most of history had reviled business and trade. Confucius said, “The virtuous man knows what is noble. The low man knows what is profitable.” In both India and Japan, the bottom rung of the social system was occupied by merchants. This type of thinking still is prevalent in Europe today where it is better to have inherited money than to have earned it. The Founding Fathers turned all this upside down. They began by rejecting the idea that all rights, including those of property came from the king. “In the novus ordo seclorum, people would have a natural right – a God given right – to their own property and to the benefits of their own labor and creativity.” In Federalist Paper No. 10 Madison stated that “the first role of government” is the “protection of different and unequal faculties of acquiring property.” The role of the new government of overseeing unequal outcomes was not seen as evil, in fact, it was seen as the government’s role to guard the citizen’s right to accumulate unequal amounts of property. America’s equality of rights not only permits the inequality of success, it provides the moral justification for it. With the founding of America, the example of the people controlling the rulers, instead of the rulers controlling the people has been set. America’s focus on the entrepreneur has produced “the most inventive and entrepreneurial society in history,” to the benefit of not only the business owner, but the workers too. In fact, the country is so productive that by the mid-1950’ s America accounted for one-fourth of the world’s economy, while having only five percent of the population. In America, even those with little education have the ability to live in nice homes. I personally, do not believe this will be true in the future. While I believe the spirit of 1776 is still alive in America today, it is not the only spirit alive. It has a serious rival, the spirit of 1968, that of the progressive. If that spirit replaces the spirit of 1776, the American will have been un-founded and re-founded.

Edmund Burke once said of patriotism: “To make us love our country, our country ought to be lovely.”

I wonder: if the men who fought and died for our country in order to establish America as the shining city on the hill could see what the Democrats are doing to her now, would they consider America “lovely?”

It really seems inevitable at this point, that another attack, equal to or worse than 9/11 is coming. You know it’s going to happen just based on the nonsense choices the two main parties in this country have put forth for President. The country has completely forgotten how we all felt that day. And when it happens again, we’ll all be sad and make stern faces and promise ourselves that we will never forget (again), but we will.

Because this is apparently who we are as a people now.

It is of critical importance that We, the people, begin to come to terms with this notion of reality, this ingenious concept that requires honest admittance to one self that we, you and I, are born of human descent, and therefore encompass all that is possible through human nature. Human nature is a given, something we are born with. Something that all men, from here to Tim Buck Two, are born with.  Moreover, we must admit to ourselves that being human comes with the prospects that give us natural rights. These rights were inscribed into the American constituion so that we may never forget them. Now, it is high time we actively enact our duties as Americans, by keeping sacred, the rights to live and to prosper, or to not. The choice is up to you.

And that is a beautiful thing.

We must unite to fight for our rights, (to party.. ha ha).

…Seriously though, as free Americans, we must ensure that the USA-born traditions that come with freedom and all that it ensues, are strong enough to last for generations to come. It is our duty as American mothers, fathers, grandparents, and everyone in between, ensure that our children have the same opportunities that we had in life.

We need to ‘secure the blessings of liberty, to ourselves, and our posterity,’

…so that we may grow and prosper as a nation, as a culture, and ultimately, as truly free human beings. 

We must realize it is our sacred duty to protect the rights were born with, or have acquired through American citizenship.. the rights to own property, the rights to live as equals among your fellow men and women, no matter your class, race, ethnicity, gender, etc… 

Thus, we mustn’t take these truths for granted. Instead, we ought to redeem them at times of uncertainty, we ought to keep an eye on the the most prominent reminder we, as Americans, will always own and defend.

What I am trying to deem unto you all, is the significance that the shadow of patriotism forever more casts unto us, and unto the entire world. A reflection of our civil rights is often described within the context of a familiar phrase…

Should all acquaintance be forgot, may we then remind ourselves of the importance that ensues us, the assurance that fills us when our hearts are filled with self hate or greed, we must remind ourselves and our neighbors, to “keep an eye“ on the greatest symbol of our unity..

Furthermore, in order to preserve our human rights as American citizens, and our rights as human beings.

Don’t take your freedom for granted. Instead, embrace it and encourage others to exercise their rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness/property– when voting in this next presidential election.  Use these rights now, so that your posterity may enjoy the same freedoms you all experience each and every day. As we all know, anything and everything will always fall short of perfection. Knowing this, how much sense does it make to compare America to Utopia? 

No matter what, America will always fall short of the standard of the “Garden of Eden.” With this in mind, you are now able to grasp the significance of this world’s greatest contribution to man kind.

The American dream is shrinking because some of our leaders want it to shrink. Decline, in other words, has become a policy objective. And if this decline continues at the current pace, America as we know it, will cease to exist. In effect, we will have committed national suicide.

It is already a depressingly sad reality that propaganda has managed to distract us long enough for Obama to get re-elected. Now that eight years of hell have almost ended, we stand divided; knocking at socialism’s door, we have somehow elected a criminal as one of the final nominees, for the next term in the oval office. A criminal who is not ashamed to run for president after being tried for the murder of American soldiers, and it’s partly because you so-called constitutional party-ers decided to stay home instead of voting for Romney in 2012. 

Perhaps Abraham Lincoln will be proven right again, when he said: “You can fool some of the people all of the time, and all of the people some of the time, but you cannot fool all of the people all of the time.”

Perhaps, this is what we deserve, this is what we get for abusing our rights and freedoms as Americans all these years.

Yes, perhaps this liberal roller coaster ride will be the downfall of the greatest republic in the history of mankind…

Perhaps China WILL beat us economically and militarily by 2025, and perhaps third world countries, such as India. continue on the path towards adopting democracy, followed by Russia, Japan, Germany..and eventually, the rest of the world.

Perhaps, that, in the midst of all these world triumphs and successes built from American and western culture, will be forgotten after they are stolen, and completely wiped from our memories.

Perhaps the inventors of capitalism, remain in reverse, rapidly declining backwards on the global scale, simultaneously adopting lesser, less equal, forms of government, and cultures from our counter continents. 

Perhaps 28 year old Lincoln got it right, once again, in stating the following quote,

…perhaps you decide to take what I have to say into consideration, and at the very least, you decide to take your offspring into consideration; before voting this election season.

Perhaps, all of the above can be prevented.

Perhaps, it starts with you.

Perhaps, by creating this ripple effect, you are able to begin informing her, and enlightening him, while sharing the forgotten truths we stillhold with them, and above all–

You are showing us, and the future generations of the United States of America, that We, the people, still hold the power. The power to strengthenourselves and our allies,  and even the power to revolutionize an entire era.

Perhaps the government will subsidize in reducing their overreach.

Perhaps freedom shall be restored once again, and,

we have consiquentally granted our descendants with the securities that come with living freely.

And so they shall shine on,

And so they shall live on,

these blessings and these opportunities that were passed down unto us.

Our spirits now existing through them.

 A human being arrives in this world with his brains already washed in the sense of being what 17th-century English political philosopher John Locke called a “tabula rasa,” clean slate – ready for experiences to imprint its script.  

John Locke was only partly correct.  The brain also arrives with numerous predispositions already in place (Nature and Genetics).  It is a combination of life’s influences (a nurturing environment) and a person’s own decisions that determine which of these dispositions develop and which ones fail.  It is through this process that a unique person is formed…
